I pray like hell that we don't see those kinds of numbers from our LBs. 70, 65, 40 & 40? You have Sales, Hull & Gbadyu starting with two of the starters being outclassed by Navarro Bowman. Now I also pray Bowman plays a ton, but you have Chris Colasanti with 12 freaking tackles! He better beat out Josh Hull by the time Illinois rolls around and I definitely hope that Jerome Hayes (rs Junior) rounds into form as the season goes on and can contribute more than 6 tackles as a leader.

I'm also pretty concerned that you have Evans numbers dipping, Maybin turning the corner but Latimore hardly contributing and Okoli/McEowen with 4 tackles a piece. FOUR!!!!! If McEowen is healthy right now besides maybe a lingering sore shoulder and remains healthy and contributes 4 tackles we have nothing to look forward to from him in '09 & '10.

IMHO Gaines has to really pick it up and take advantage of the fact that he is playing opposite Evans, he will be tested and as a senior and soon to be three year starter he needs to be productive. If not, I have no doubt that Latimore or even McEowen can be.

You really should take that job at Wegmans as a cashier,at least the register will figure the exact change for you.No need to think or have a brain and you have already proved yourself to be more than capable in that regard.

Leading LB has only 70 tackles (Last year our top two had nearly 300)? If this is true, we better have 5-6 contributing.

We're in trouble if Hayes only has 6 tackles. I'm expecting 5 times that many.

Looks like some pretty good field position with Wallace returning kicks for over 34 yard average

Maybe you guys should stick to what you do best like posting informationless teasers about upcoming disciplinary issues, breaking a story that is already out in the news, and making fun of Phil Grosz' hair. Seriously...you guys do those things really well. And if none of that works, try juicing just a little more out of that "all is well" routine. There's still some meat on that bone.

I think Kevin Kelly has at least 2 tackles this year. I think other than that every single number is correct. Love Mom
Ps I think you are doing a wonderful job on your log or glog or whatever you call it

Do those tackle numbers add up ? I think there need to be a whole bunch more on that list, either spread out or focused more on the LBs.

Those sack numbers would be a solid decline from last year as well. Not sure I agree with that, mainly the numbers for the DL.

seriously guys. Update this site or take it down. It's a shame you only have something to say when things aren't going well for the program. Would it kill you to be just a little excited about how well we're doing?

Of course I suspect if you did post something it would probably bring up our crappy record against Michigan and Ohio State the past eight years. And then you could always talk about our lousy recruiting. So there's something for ya.

while i always enjoyed reading what information this site had to offer its quite obvious now that they really were only able to report on things when they werent going well. i understand that you dont want to only report about how great things are going, so that people dont get high and mighty. But at the same time if you consider yourselves fans of Penn State football (and maybe you arent) then you should have so many stories to write about that you cant decide which ones to actually go through with. Bye Haters
